MTNA Membership Information

FMTA membership is open to all persons who :

1. Are professionally engaged in any field of musical activity.
2. Are members of MTNA and an affiliated state association
3. Either hold a music degree from a accredited University or the equivalent or are Nationally Certified by MTNA in their teaching field.
4. Provisional membership is available for persons actively working toward the completion of a music degree or the equivalent or MTNA certification in their teaching field.  Provisional memberships are limited to 5 years during which time course work or certification must be completed.
5. Patron membership is available to all persons not professionally engaged in any field of musical activity who wish to support the programs of the Association.
